Notes: This will hopefully be one of my last films without my green screen for a while. There might be a few while I'm waiting for it to arrive, but it's coming with a stand and two big lights. Very exciting.
I don't really like the puppet or my manipulation of it, but he looked pretty cute in editing. And this video was more so that I could look back and see how clean my room was and how cute my Japanese marionette was when it ran.

I tried! But my green screen was -cough- destroyed by somebody.

And then I went and saw Handmade Puppet Dreams and am consequently pre-productioning so hard that I stop being interested in projects.

So, that's what I'm doing. xD

Notes: Drew the sets with crayon. Final Cut was helpful in making them not look washed out. The tree was the hard part because Final Cut wasn't a fan of having a green screen AND having a four point matte to crop the footage of the girl so it would look like she was coming from behind only a part of the set. In the end I was victorious.
Other than the fact that my hand is annoyingly visible quite a number of times, rather than tastefully visible, I'm sort of a fan of this one.

Notes: For now, I'm more than slightly pleased with this. I don't like how I incorporated the real video, but once I spent six hours uploading the thing, I figured I just had to put it in somewhere. And the YouTube quality is so bad that you can't see her mustache. So, that's good. It's a pretty good video, I was very happy with the manipulation.

Notes: I was hoping this would be a little more technical, but I thought it turned out okay. The green screen tablecloth is being a little nicer, but I should probably buy a real one or at least one that's not a tablecloth. Anyway it's a gift for my mother. A little better than last year's Mother's Day video. I probably need to work on plot, my gimmicks are becoming less and less obvious as I try to figure out this green screen and advance technically.

So, I had this dream that Jim Morrison (Embarrasingly not Van Morrison), on John Lennon's advice, brought myself and a few of my friends down to a back alley to play Moondance on the trash cans.

This picture looks exactly like the back alley in my dream.

I put Michelle in, but this time she sucked because she was wearing a green dress and you can bloody see through her. And, for some reason, Marvin still has green hair. It's not like this is rocket science.

The dream was cooler than this video.

I think it's time to get out of this art stuff and back into the gimmick stuff. Cross-dissolving is tedious. Maybe a crude rock duet next.

The song is in August Rush, and Robin Williams more or less plays the harmonica, though I doubt he's as talented as this soloist.

Note-

This features my Mme. Alexander doll (It's Not Easy Being Green Edition) I bought on the way to Ocean City. It was supposed to be a great video.

But my doll came untied from her boat and I had to more or less abandon the camera in an emergency doll and boat search and rescue situation. Luckily I accidentally filmed that part (though the dangling lens cap makes an appearance more often than not).

After embarrassingly two or three of these scenarios, the camera filled with saltwater, short circuited, and rendered itself useless, playing dead for the rest of my one filming day.

It woke up the next morning, so I still had all the footage, and I left in the part where it short circuits because it looked kinda cool.

And the music's from Charlie Bartlett.

Once again I apologize to people who made requests- Being in school, I have very little motivation to work hard on much of anything else if the inspiration doesn't trump my laziness. I assure you that the remaining two requests will be completed within the first week of summer, at the very latest.

Note- This was for the National History Day project our school forced upon us so that they could receive some funding and provide us with an educational experience. This was our response to their demands.

It includes a lot of green screen effects, some of which backfired (I now understand that while a green greenscreen does help, it's not a great idea to just make the background completely white, and also to have a main puppet with green hair).

We also bought our theme song from Andrew Pants (songstowearpantsto.com), but I put together that sequence at like 11:45pm at night so it didn't turn out wonderfully.

Either way, it's my first feature film that includes my actual voice AND a plot/theme to boot.
